Our Belief Story
The Beginning
In 1991, Antoine Bassil founded a multidisciplinary civil, architectural and interior design firm under the name “Archi.exe”. He was joined afterwards by his brother to take the firm to the next level. Its work covered the fields of Design, construction and project management based on integrity and sustainability.
“Our Past Fuels our Future!” This brief history highlights on the fuel that the second-generation ownership architect Elie Antoine Bassil used to create his own company “Belief Architects (Bassil Elie Forthright Architects)” in 2013 and opened a new chapter. The firm seamlessly woven together three core areas of expertise - architecture, real estate, and farming - forging a unique relationship between them, with sustainability at its heart that shape a more environmentally conscious and socially responsible future.

Our Founder
Elie Bassil is the visionary founder and driving force behind Belief Architects - Bassil Elie Forthright Architects. Graduating with a master's degree in Architecture in 2012, Elie's passion for sustainable design led him to earn a specialized master's degree in Sustainable Buildings in 2023 from Ecoles Nationales des Ponts et Chaussees - Paris, France. As a respected member of the Lebanese Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut, Elie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm.
Throughout his career, Elie has demonstrated his exceptional skills by successfully completing a diverse array of projects for high-end clients and corporations. His experience extends beyond design, encompassing the intricate realms of project execution, management, and real estate sales.
Beyond his architectural pursuits, Elie is also the visionary manager and creator of Belief Farms, a testament to his commitment to sustainability. These farms encompass beekeeping, poultry farming, horticulture, and the breeding of goats and sheep. Through these ventures, Elie strives to cultivate distinguished, artisanal, and organic products, further reflecting Belief Architects' dedication to environmental responsibility and innovation. Elie's multifaceted expertise and unwavering commitment to sustainable practices are integral to the firm's mission of shaping a brighter, more sustainable future.
